When you are logged into TAO, click My Account in the left navigation. Then click on the tab that says Systems.

You will see the six built-in
Automated Relationship Systems. TAO comes pre-loaded with these six systems to remind you to follow up with your Contacts with specific reminders of what to do and when. For more info on how these work and the steps of each system go to: What are Automated Relationship Systems?
These systems are completely customizable.
Click on one of the Automated Relationship Systems and it will open up all the steps of that system. You will see what each step means, as well as the time parameters of when each step occurs or repeats.

Next to each step is a Trash Can icon. Say you don't want to be sending postcards right now, you can simply delete that step of this system. Every Contact who is currently in the system or who you add in the future,  will no longer have that step as a reminder.
If you delete the step and decide to add it back one day, simply go down to the Restore button and add it back in. Every Contact currently in that system will have that step added back in, as well as any future Contacts.

You can also change the date parameters on any step. There are two fields you get to change:

1. 1st Reminder Starts In.. (enter number of days)
When a Contact is added to an Automated System they are date stamped with the date they are added. So here you get to adjust when you want the first reminder to start. If you want it to start immediately, you’d enter ‘0’. If you want it to start the next day, enter ‘1’ and so on.

2. Reminder repeats every…(enter number of days)
If you want this reminder to repeat, simply add the number of days the reminder will recur. If you want to be reminded every 2 weeks, enter 14 days. If you want to be reminded every month, add 30 days and so on.

Now say you delete a step or change a date parameter and you mess up :) Simply head on back to the System you were editing and click Restore to Default.
Once restored, that System will be restored for any Contact who is currently in that system.
